   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>В статье прослеживается, как в историографии 1960-1980-х годов представление о мозаичности, чересполосном бытовании на территории Центрального, Северо-Восточного и Северного Казахстана в эпоху неолита двух типов индустрии - отщеповой и пластинчатой - сменилось заключением о смене индустрии пластины индустрией отщепа, в частности, благодаря использованию методов статистического анализа археологических данных.</p>
   </abstract>
   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>The author traces the evolution of the view in the 1960s - 1980s historiography that the two types of late Stone Age industry in the territory of Central, North-East and Northern Kazakhstan - flake industry and blade industry - were patchy and strip-like in character towards the conception that blade industry was superseded by flake industry, this conclusion being specifically due to the usage of methods of the statistical analysis of archaeological data.</p>
