С целью анализа архетипов и универсалий этнонациональной ментальности в статье рассматриваются богородичные мотивы православной культуры. Большое внимание уделено основным характеристикам сигнатуры Богородицы в украинской архитектуре, иконописи, проповеднической и художественной литературе. Показана общность украинских и российских православных духовных позиций.

The article presents the further development of the analysis of the archetypes and universals of the ethno-national mentality. It deals with the motifs connected with the Mother of God in the orthodox culture. The attention is focused on the main characteristics of the Significance of the Mother of God image in Ukrainian architecture, icon-painting, homiletics and belles-lettres. The common character of Ukrainian and Russian spiritual attitudes is shown.
