Аннотация
В статье рассматривается проявившееся в современной британской историографии стремление выявить при изучении церковно-административной деятельности архиепископа Кентерберийского Уильяма Лода (1633-1645) то влияние, которое оказал на нее король Карл I Стюарт (1625-1649).
