According to most Western scientists, flexible skills are the most important competencies necessary for the successful realization of potential; the professional education system is not ready for the formation of soft skills, as a result, a radical change in educational programs and curricula is required; the formation of soft skills involves the use of modern innovative technologies and the involvement of leading specialists in various fields. Soft skills – super-professional skills that help you solve life problems and work with other people. Soft skills can not be learned in a training or course, they are laid down in childhood and develop throughout life.

Surgutskova G.A.

Abstract

The process of globalization is currently developing. The process of globalization leads to the expansion of interactions between different countries, peoples and their cultures. Scientific cooperation, trade and tourism, cultural exchanges and direct contacts between state institutions, social groups, and social movements contribute to this process. Communication with people of different cultures becomes an important element of ordinary person's life. Higher education institutions are more often involved in intercultural communication and dialogue of cultures, namely, they exchange students, and teachers participate in joint projects and have internships abroad. Intercultural interaction of students is one of the main aspects of successful adaptation in the international academic environment. It allows foreign students to feel much closer to each other and to regulate the adaptation process over a long period. Today we are witnessing the development of elements of cultural identity. Higher education institutions need to determine the most effective forms and methods of working with students. These forms will prepare them for cross-cultural interaction, especially in the context of academic mobility. In the article, the author reveals the features of the dialogue of cultures in relation to intercultural interaction on the example of higher educational institutions. In the article, the difficulties encountered by university students in intercultural interaction were analyzed. The main reasons for communication problems that arise during the preparation of bachelors in non-linguistic fields were identified. An attempt has been made to reveal the problems that students face in the process of intercultural interaction, and to show their dependence on the type of culture. In the process of intercultural interaction, the parties seek to resolve their problems: to preserve their identity, to become part of the culture in which they now exist, etc. The dialogue of cultures in the modern educational environment makes it possible to formulate the patterns of students’ communication in foreign languages. The author draws attention to the fact that preparing students to interact with people of other cultures is an important and necessary stage in the process of their “infusion” into the international academic community.

Volosnikova L.M., Kukuev E.A., Ogorodnova O.V., Patrusheva I.V.

Abstract

The openness of a modern university ensures that students from heterogeneous groups are included in education.  Academic mobility is a significant trend in the global educational space. The success of the education of students with disabilities is determined by their personal readiness to be active and academically mobile. The authors note a tendency towards the implementation of academic mobility in the process of professional training mainly through the creation of external conditions.  At the same time, insufficient attention is paid to the analysis of mobility as a personal education, which determines the weak provision of the mechanisms of its formation, especially among students with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the personal indicators of academic mobility of students with disabilities based on respondents' portfolios containing information about the facts of academic mobility in the experience of students, a survey about the perceptions and motivation of respondents to implement academic mobility, the Tomsk Rigidity Questionnaire G.V. Zalevsky. The results obtained indicate the low activity of students in educational, scientific activities that go beyond the educational program.  At the same time, more than half of the respondents are ready for academic mobility.  Comparative analysis of the studied components in the samples of students with health standards and with disabilities showed: lack of expression of rigidity in students with disabilities; correlations between the characteristics of rigidity and disability features; the severity of the components of personal readiness for academic mobility among students with disabilities. The presented results are unique and prove the importance of inclusive transformation of the educational space of universities to ensure the possibility of learning and academic mobility of students of heterogeneous groups.

Personality-oriented approach to the development of emotional regulation in future medical professionals

Isupov P.V.

Abstract

The purpose of the publication is to actualize the problem of the development of emotional regulation in medical college students as future mid-level medical specialists. It is known that the medical profession belongs to professions characterized by significant emotional, physical and mental stress, which can cause professional deformations in specialists, including emotional burnout. Experiencing the influence of emotiogenic factors, negative emotional experiences, the specialist intuitively resorts to the mechanisms of psychological defense, which contributes to the development, on the one hand, of non-constructive strategies of professional behavior towards the patient (rudeness, callousness, indifference); on the other hand, the constant encounter with difficulties, with the experience of negative emotions, with difficult events (illness, suffering, death) reduces the personal emotional resource and leads the specialist to emotional burnout. Personality-oriented and axiological approaches were chosen to study the indicated problem. The study proves that emotional regulation develops in stages, and the first stages are logical to the ontological development of the individual. In the course of the pedagogical experiment, it was proved that the students of the medical college deliberately chose their future profession, demonstrate sufficient educational motivation, while just over a quarter of the students have the optimal level of development of emotional regulation. The conducted research proves the necessity and possibility of pedagogical influence during the period of professional training of future mid-level medical specialists. As a solution to this problem, the author of the publication proposes to develop emotional regulation at the stage of professional education. The development of the value-semantic level of emotional regulation in the process of vocational education is provided by a complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the interiorization of professional values and meanings by students of the medical college. Among the conditions tested were the development of reflexive skills, value-semantic mediation, mastering strategies of emotional regulation. The results of the experiment confirmed the legitimacy of the developed theoretical provisions and organizational and pedagogical conditions.

Business communication cultures of military students

Erofeev D.V.

Abstract

The business communication culture is an inalienable aspect of the professional activity of military personnel. The analysis of the essence and content of the business communication culture demonstrated by military students revealed some gaps in the development of this academic discipline in the military universities of the Russian Federation. The need to study this problem is acquiring scientific topicality and practical importance. The military service persons are more actively involved into business activities now but their level of preparedness to conduct business communication in the social and service sphere is rather low. Scientific and practical solutions to this contradiction can become an important component in the general program of transformations in the training of military specialists and further research. This research aimed to determine the conditions for the effective functioning of the process of forming a business communication culture among students of military universities. The practical task of the research was to form a business communication culture and to actualize the process of its formation among students of military universities. To solve the task, theoretical methods were used such as analysis of thesis research; comparative analysis of philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical literature; and study and generalization of advanced pedagogical experience. The methodological basis was a set of basic approaches, namely, systemic, activity-based, axiological, and cultural. The study showed that the effectiveness of the process of forming a business communication culture is ensured by the implementation of a framework of pedagogical conditions, which was developed in this study, and is determined by the selected research methodology and the peculiarities of the studied phenomenon, i.e. the business communication culture of military students.
